Kashmiris won’t rest until win freedom: Mushaal Mullick

ISLAMABAD, Nov 06 (SABAH): Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization, has said that November 6 is the darkest day in the history of Kashmir, as 74 years ago on this day tens of thousands of men, women and even children were callously butchered for demanding their just right to right self-determination.

Mushaal, the wife of illegally incarcerated Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik, in a statement on Jammu Martyrs’ Day observed in both sides of Kashmir and worldwide, on Saturday, said that on this day, over seven decades ago ago, the Dogra Army backed by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Indian occupation forces systematically martyred over 237,000 Muslims in different parts of Jammu region during the first week of November 1947.

She said that the fascist Indian authorities adopted the same killing strategy of Kashmiris in a premeditated effort to exterminate the Muslim population of the region in order to change its demographic structure as all other brutal tactics to subdue the Kashmir people yielded no results.

Mushaal said that even after lapse of 74 years of Jammu genocide, the sufferings of Kashmiris have not ended rather the brutal Hindutva regime further accelerated barbarity and state terrorism to muzzle the powerful dissenting voices in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The chairperson said that Muslims who were migrating to Pakistan on November 6, 1947 were assassinated under a well-planned conspiracy, adding that the dignity of migrating women was tarnished.
She went on to say that the children were snatched from their mothers and killed ruthlessly.

The hurriyat leader bemoaned that that murderous campaign against Muslims by Hindu extremists witnessed an alarming upsurge after Indian government stripped the Kashmir independent status unilaterally and unlawfully on August 5, 2019.

Mushaal said that Kashmir is still bleeding, as the occupation forces have turned the valley into the world largest torture cell and committing the genocide of Kashmiri people even today. She lamented that the world community and world powers observed criminal silence over the Narendra Modi-led fascist government on-going killing spree of unarmed and innocent Kashmiri people.

However, she vowed that Kashmiri brave people would not rest until they break the shackles of Indian slavery and win freedom for Kashmiris.
