Muhammad Farooq Rehmani condemns India’s crackdown in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, Dec 6 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman J&K People’s Freedom League and ex Convener All Parties Hurriyet Conference AJ&K, has in a statement castigated India for crackdown and search operations in Baramulla and Shpian, arresting civilians and relatives of former and martyred activists accusing them of having terror links, when the fact that the real motive of the Indian authorities is to perpetuate wide spread horror for hitting at their economic roots. 

These brute raids, he stated were taken in the early hours of morning on Tuesday by NIA accompanied by number of vehicles and scores of police personnel and paratroopers. He warned that Indian BJP were attempting to change the religious, cultural and demographic map of the Kashmiri State according to her Hindutva settler policy and it was following overt and covert methods to target pro freedom people inside or outside by using her spying net-work to suppress and kill the kashmiris for not abandoning the cause of Kashmir. 

He also expressed condemnation of arresting and harassing those students of the NIST Srinagar, who had protested  against desecration of the Prophet’s holy name ( Peace be upon Him). He stated that no Muslim could   tolerate desecration of the Holy Prophet (SAWS). Muhammad Farooq Rehmani expressed grave concern over ethnic cleansing of The Muslims in J&K and India, calling on the Muslim world to take cognizance of ruling BJP’s role and rigorous Hindutva campaign of changing Mosques into Hindu temples in India. 

He expressed concern and dissatisfaction over the role of UN in this connection and urged upon the Arab and Muslim countries to take solid measures against India’s massive ethnic cleansing plan of Muslims and other minorities especially the Sikh Community and the Kashmiri Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir.
