Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has initiated a science, technology, English, Math education project for unprivileged girl students

RAWALPINDI, Nov 30 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has initiated a science, technology, English, Math education project for unprivileged girl students. 

  The purpose of project which started with the cooperation of Punjab School, Makkah Foundation and CFLI is to empower them by giving them robotic education. It motif is also to end gender hurdles while grooming their leadership qualities and other skills. 

In Alkhidmat Aghosh Sheikhupura, 55 orphan girls were given robotic kits valuing 16,000 during a ceremony of completing STEM training. These kits would also be given to 250 girls. 

Special guests including Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri, National Director Alkhidmat Aghosh Homes Air Marshal (retd) Arshad Malik, National Director Alkhidmat Education Program Dr Ahmed Jibran Baloch and Regional President Alkhidmat Ikramul Subhani while expressing their views thanked Punjab School and other institutions over extending cooperation. They also paid tributes for encouraging this initiative. 

Syed Waqas Jafri said that equipping the girls with modern education plays an important role in the formation of society and added that motif of this project is to empower orphan girls for their bright future. Normally, he said boys are given preference in technology while the girls are ignored but Alkhidmat Foundation gave preferential treatment to this project and launched it. Air Marshal (retd) Arshad Malik said their motif is to empower the girls while giving them idea of robot.
