February 8 will be day of mourning for anti-people political parties: Sirajul Haq

DERA GHAZI KHAN, TAUNSA, Nov 26 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that February 8 will be day of mourning for anti-people political parties.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing public gatherings during two-day visit of Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa. He further said that people have seen generals and three political parties during the last 75 years and added no-one of them could make the country and the nation better.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that today economic crisis, injustice, barbarism, inflation, unemployment, and destruction of agriculture and industry are the result of those governments.

He said that the rulers remained obedient to the US and came into government on dictation of International Monetary Fund (IMF). He said the rulers enhanced their bank balances and properties and they cleared the ways of their offspring for coming into power.

He said they closed their doors for common Pakistanis. He said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not take out even one rally and public gathering containing one thousand individuals in favour of Palestinians. He said these leaders are not true Muslims and Pakistanis as they are totally tightlipped over the freedom of Masjid Al Aqsa as well as freedom of Occupied Kashmir.

Sirajul Haq said that these leaders did not speak a single word for bringing Dr Aafia Siddiqui back to Pakistan. He stressed upon the people to hold such people accountable and added Jamaat-e-Islami is initiating election campaign from South Punjab from Sunday.

If the nation wants to wipe out corruption from the country, honest leadership, employments for the youth, old age allowance, sponsorship of orphans, educated youth, eradication of interest system and that every girl goes to school then the people should stand by the Jamaat-e-Islami, he said.

On this occasion, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami South Punjab Rao Muhammad Zafar, Secretary General Sohaib Ammar Siddiqui, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Dera Ghazi Khan Prof Rasheed Akhtar, candidate for NA-184 Naeemullah Khan and candidate for PP-285 Mazhar Mehmood and others were present. People from several walks of life welcomed Sirajul Haq.

He said if the nation wants to end the politics of feudal landlords, waderas, so-called political leaders, land and drug mafias then they should support Jamaat-e-Islami during the upcoming general elections.
