Imran Khan says he salutes 10 martyred soldiers who repulsed a terrorist fire raid on check post in Kech area of Balochistan


ISLAMABAD, Jan 28 (SABAH): Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed commitment to rid Pakistan of all forms of terrorism.

In a tweet on Friday, PM Imran Khan said our brave soldiers continue to lay down their lives to keep us safe from terrorists.

Imran Khan said he salutes the 10 martyred soldiers who repulsed a terrorist fire raid on check post in Kech area of Balochistan.

“Our brave soldiers continue to lay down their lives to keep us safe from terrorists. I salute the 10 martyred soldiers who repulsed a terrorist fire raid on checkpost in Kech Balochistan. We are resolute in our commitment to rid Pakistan of all forms of terrorism” PM Imran Khan tweeted on Friday.

Earlier, in a statement, the Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of ten Pakistan Army soldiers in a terrorist attack on a security check post in Kech area. He expressed sympathy with the heirs of the martyrs.

The Prime Minister said each drop of the Jawans’ blood guarantees security of the country. He said the coward enemy is facing a strong nation that defeated terrorism in the past as well.

Meanwhile Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has condemned terrorist attack on a security forces’ check post in Balochistan’s Kech district. In a statement issued on Friday, Sheikh Rashid expressed grief over the martyrdom of ten soldiers. He said attack on security forces deployed for protection of our homeland is worst form of terrorism.

It is worth mentioning here that 10 soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack on a security forces’ check post in Balochistan’s Kech district.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the fire raid by terrorists occurred on the night of Tuesday and Wednesday. During intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed and several others injured. Three terrorists were also apprehended in the follow-up clearance operation. The ISPR reiterated the armed forces’ determination to eliminate terrorists from the country at any cost.
