Pakistan’s second batch of humanitarian assistance to Gaza arrives at El-Arish Int’l Airport
EL-ARISH, Nov 07 (SABAH): A second chartered aircraft carrying 89.6 tons of humanitarian and medical aid from the Government and people of Pakistan for the brotherly people of Gaza arrived at El-Arish international Airport, Egypt on Tuesday.
Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan senior leader Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and officials from Embassy of Pakistan in Egypt handed over the aid to Egyptian Red Crescent Society for its onward delivery to Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza. Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan is in Egypt to express solidarity with the people of Gaza in his personal capacity.
Earlier a special aircraft carrying 81 tons of humanitarian and medical aid from Pakistan landed at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt on 19 October, 2023.
Pakistan stands with people of Palestine morally, politically and diplomatically, and will continue to provide them with essentially required relief assistance.
Earlier in the day, the special flight was sent off from Islamabad by Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan.
The relief assistance has been handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for its onward delivery to Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza.
