Jane Marriott expresses the UK’s commitment to strengthen bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD, Nov 03 (SABAH): British High Commissioner in Pakistan Jane Marriott OBE, met with Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Leader of the House in Senate on Friday. They discussed the enduring UK-Pakistan relationship and key economic developments in Pakistan during 2013-17. 

Senator Ishaq Dar highlighted the importance of free and fair elections, trade ties, and agricultural development for Pakistan. High Commissioner Jane Marriott expressed the UK’s commitment to strengthen bilateral relations.

Ishaq Dar addressed the issue of smuggling and border management to curb illegal goods movement. Both nations look forward to a future with enhanced foreign investment and cooperation.
