Celebration of so-called Republic Day was sheer humiliation of democracy & humanity: Syed Salahuddin

MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 25 (SABAH): Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that the celebration of so-called Republic Day on the part of Indian rulers in India and other occupied areas, which have been turned into hell to humans, was sheer humiliation of democracy and humanity.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said this during a special meeting of United Jihad Council. The Chairman UJC underlined that the world witnessed that Dalits, Christians, Sikhs and Muslims had become insecure due to supremacy of Hindutva and caste and creed system.

Syed Salahudin added that humanity was feeling ashamed with each passing day and the humiliation had increased thousand times after the fascist Narendra Modi took up the reins of government. He added that Muslims were being killed in internationally acknowledged disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir under a conspiracy to change Muslims majority into a minority. “Military power is being used to crush the voice of freedom loving people who oppose occupation of Indian military that has left more than 5 lac Muslims martyred and thousands injured and paralyzed”, the chairman UJC added.

Syed Salahudin regretted that the play of state-terrorism was hitherto on full swing leaving thousands of peaceful citizens martyred while several others facing dreadful incarceration in Indian prisons. He added that Indian military had grabbed control over 27.75 lac kanal fertile agricultural land in order to consolidate its illegitimate domination and that further land had been taken control of in 2019. Moreover, the state plan of changing Muslims into a minority was being implemented with utmost enthusiasm and non-state people were being settled in the disputed territory on several pretexts. The chairman was of the view that 5 million Indian citizens had been issued state-subject and Muslims were consecutively being denied in state administration and administrative services. The Chairman UJC revealed the fact that non-state Hindus had been appointed on important positions of state bureaucracy. He underlined that in such circumstances, celebration of Republic Day was nothing but humiliation of democracy and humanity. He asked as for how long Indian rulers would perpetrating these heinous acts and also showed hope that these infidel governments couldn’t survive for long and the tactics of violence would culminated the rule of violence. While announcing 26 January as a Black Day, Syed Salahuddin asked the masses to pledge on that day that they would not cease efforts till reaching the destination.
