Liaqat Baloch welcomes return of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan after a long time
LAHORE, Oct 22 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and President of the JI’s National Political Committee Liaqat Baloch while welcoming return of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan after a long time has said that the address of Nawaz Sharif at the Minar-e-Pakistan gathering was based on reconciliation, national priorities and national agenda, adding that Nawaz Sharif’s again return back to Pakistan was only become possible through reaching reconciliation with establishment.
This was stated by Liaqat Baloch while addressing the workers conventions at Multan, Khanewal and Lahore. He said that PML-N put its everything at stake while making arrangements for the return of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan. He said Nawaz Sharif could not get rid of the failures and destructions of the 16-month long coalition government of PDM and PPP. He said that the masses are reeling under the inflation and electricity bills.
Liaqat Baloch said that Pakistan needs free, fair and transparent elections, adding that fleeing from holding of elections or delaying them will be treason with constitution and democracy. He said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should announce holding elections on the last Sunday of January 2024 falling on 28th January. He said that stability is only possible through holding elections.
Liaqat Baloch said that “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” of Hamas remained successful from every aspect and is achieving its goals. He said that from 1987 to 2023, nearly 30,000 Palestinians have been martyred, adding that these big sacrifices are for securing freedom. He said that in the result of “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” of Hamas, the Kashmir dispute has been highlighted in whole world. He said that suppression and barbarianism of Israel has been exposed again. He said that heads of the Muslim counties should immediately be gathered and Saudi Arabia should host them. He said that for Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and for young Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman there is great opportunity like the past to represent the sentiments of the Muslim Ummah and this is the desire and aspiration of the Muslim Ummah. He said that economic and diplomatic boycott of Israel should be carried out to stop its tyrant and aggressive designs.
