Since October 7 with cooperation of international partner NGOs Al-Khidmat Foundation rescue & relief operation is underway in Palestine, Gaza: Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman

RAWALPINDI, Oct 18 (SABAH): President Al-khidmat Foundation Pakistan Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said that since October 7 with the cooperation of international partner NGOs Al-Khidmat Foundation rescue and relief operation is underway in Palestine and Gaza. He said that they are in continues contact with the spokesperson of ministry of health of Gaza-Palestine and are well aware of entire situation there.

In first phase food packages, medicines, blankets and other aid luggage valuing 100 million rupees. In the second phase fund of 500 million rupees has been allocated. At this time in Gaza, 1,200 persons are trapped under the debris including innocent children for whom there is no proper system for their rescue.

In his statement, President Al-Khidmat Foundation said that the search and rescue teams of Al-Khidmat Foundation are ready and waiting for the signal. “We request the Pakistani government and NDMA to play their role in making the Gaza route so that our teams can reach there and carry out rescue operations. Teams of Al-Khidmat surgeons, orthopedics and experts from other fields of medical are also ready to take their passports.

Dr. Hafeezur Rahman said that the Turkish doctor in the Turkish Friend Hospital in the affected area said that only 24 hours of diesel and fuel are left in the hospital, and as soon as they are finished, all services including medical will be stopped. “We are trying according to our ability with the support of the people of goodness. Whatever other NGOs want to work together with us, we will serve the Palestinian people in the most critical situations by becoming each other’s hands and arms,” he remarked.
