Pak Navy Ship ALAMGIR visits Kenyan port city Mombasa as part of overseas deployment in African region


MOMBASA, Jan 21 (SABAH): Pakistan Navy Ship ALAMGIR visited Kenyan port city Mombasa, as part of overseas deployment in African region.    

Upon arrival at port, PNS ALAMGIR was received by Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Kenya, Defence Attaché of Pakistan and senior officials from Kenyan Navy.

During interactions between Mission Commander Pakistan Navy and Cabinet Secretary of Defence of Kenya and Deputy Commander of Kenyan Navy, the two sides reaffirmed the resolve to enhance their bilateral ties in all spheres.

The Mission Commander conveyed good wishes of Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Kenya.

As a goodwill gesture and to extend humanitarian assistance, a free Medical Camp was also established by Pakistan Navy at Mombasa, where a specialized team of Pakistan Navy doctors and paramedics provided treatment and medicines to over 5,400 patients.

Establishment of the camp was widely appreciated by the local populace.

During PNS ALAMGIR deployment to African continent since November last year, over 15,000 patients were provided treatment and medicine in five countries.
