High-ranking officials from the Majlis-e-Shura of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visits National Assembly of Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, Sep 26 (SABAH): A group of high-ranking officials from the Majlis-e-Shura of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited the National Assembly of Pakistan on Tuesday.
The visit was in line with the roadmap agreed upon by Raja Pervez Ashraf, Speaker of the National Assembly and Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, Chairman of Majlis-e-Shura during their meeting, aimed at further strengthening cooperation and collaboration between the National Assembly of Pakistan and the Majlis-e- Shura.
The Saudi delegation consisting of Official of Majlis-e-Shura was briefed about important initiatives undertaken taken by the National Assembly for its complete and comprehensive digitalization, among others. The delegation expressed its appreciation about progress of different projects undertaken by National Assembly of Pakistan. Later, the delegates also toured the Parliament House including National Assembly Hall.
