BATKHELA/LAHORE, Sep 14 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that accountability of the weak is held in the country as no one could apprehend the powerful mafia. He said that even the money came for the flood affectees was also embezzled, adding that sugar mill owners sell sugar on over 100 profit, adding that this kind of suppression is only committed in Pakistan. Sirjaul Haq said that WAPDA is taking action against electricity thieves and for recovery and it was revealed that there are over Rs 6 million arrears on the Prime Minister House.
This was stated by Sirajul while addressing the joint marriage ceremony of the 21 couples at Batkhela, Malakand. Under the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan the Nikkah ceremony of the 21 couples was held. Emir JI Sirajul Haq congratulated the couples and distributed gifts among them. Deputy Secretary General JI Bakhtiar Mani, Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Zikrullah Mujahid, President Alkhidmat Foundation Khalid Waqas were also present on the occasion. Sirajul Haq said that welfare activities of Alkhidmat Foundation are worth appreciable, adding that the workers and volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation serve the humanity while keeping themselves above from caste, color and politics.
Sirajul Haq said that the tradition of eating official resources and debts is not new but it is continued from decades, adding that debts are spent on the extravagant activities of the rulers, adding that it is proper for the rulers of the poor and indebted country to live in palaces consisting of hundreds of acres. He said that the governor houses are bigger than the American While House, adding that millions of rupees are spent on looking after of the Governor Houses and nation bears the burden. He said that whether 10 marla house is not enough for Grade-22 officer.
Meanwhile Sirajul Haq has condemned the terror attack on Jamiat Ulemae Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah and prayed for his soon recovery.
In a statement issued from Mansoorah, Sirajul Haq also prayed for the other injured people and stressed that it lies in responsibilities of the government of Pakistan and security institutions to provide protection to the citizens. He was of the view that each and every one is disturbed due to rising incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and stressed upon to give stringent punishment to those who are found responsible.
Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch, Secretary General Ameerul Azim, Secretary Information Qaisar Sharif and other leadership prayed for the soon recovery of Hafiz Hamdullah and workers of JUI-F. They demanded transparent investigation of the incident while condemning it in strongest possible terms.
