Ceremony organized in honor of children studying under the Orphan Care Program of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan


LAHORE, Sep 09 (SABAH): The ceremony was organized in the honor of the children studying under the Orphan Care Program of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. These children have secured prominent numbers in the examinations.  

The ceremony was attended by President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Vice Chancellor Punjab University Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameerul Azim, Emir JI Central Punjab Javed Ahmed Kasuri, Alkhidmat Foundation Central Punjab President Ikramul Haq Subhani, Alkhidmat Lahore President Engineer Ahmed Hammad Rashid, National Director Orphan Care Program Brigadier (retd) Abdul Jabbar, Prominent columnists Sajjad Mir, Salman Ghani, Dr. Hussain Ahmed Piracha, prominent poet Zahid Fakhri, Sadullah Shah, social personality Dr. Samiha Raheel Qazi, hundreds of students, their brave mothers and people belonging to different walks of life.  

On the occasion Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman informed that Alkhidmat Foundation is performing the responsibility of education and looking after of 27 thousand orphan children as a sacred duty. He said that Alkhidmat High Achievers Award ceremony has an important position in our calendar because today we are celebrating the outstanding performance of our orphan children, who performed extremely well in 9th and 10th class examinations. He said that it is the resolve of the Alkhidamt Foundation that no orphan child remains unattended.

Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that there are hundreds and thousands of orphan children present in Pakistan and out of them a large number of children are lacking proper facilities of education, health and food. He said that looking after the education, upbringing and other facilities is our religious and national duty. He said that it is our mission that every orphan child residing in country should brighten the name of the country and nation instead of becoming burden on the society.  

On the occasion JI Secretary General Ameerul Azim said that he congratulates all the children who secured prominent position in exams, whole team of Alkhidmat Orphan Family Support Program and mothers of these children. He said that these children are the asset of the nation, adding that it was a matter of privilege for him to be present among the brave children, adding that the future of Pakistan will be in the hands of these bright stars.

Vice Chancellor Punjab University Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood said that orphanage should be made power instead of making it as weakness, adding that the dreams could be achieved through hard work and dedication.

On the occasion the mothers of the children thanked Alkhidmat Foundation, which is fulfilling the dreams of their late husbands. At the end of the ceremony honorary shields, cash prizes and gifts were also distributed.
