Alkhidmat Foundation lays the foundation stone of water filtration plant at Christian locality affected from recent Jaranwala carnage


JARANWALA, August 25 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has laid the foundation stone of the water filtration plant at Christian locality affected from recent Jaranwala carnage.

In this regard Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, Alkhidmat Foundation’s Central Punjab President Ikramul Haq Subhani, Senior Manager media relations department Shoaib Hashmi, Christian leader Khalid and local office-bearers of Alkhidmat Foundation Jarnawala, Muslim and Christian religious leaders visited the affected locality.

While talking on the occasion, Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas said that for establishing peace in the society there is need to discourage the religious sectarianism and religious harmony should be promoted. Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas said that today we have come here to convey our feelings to Christian community, adding that the Christian community should not feel itself lonely.

On the occasion Ikramul Haq Subhani said that today we have laid the foundation stone of the latest reverse osmosis water filtration plant, which will provide clean drinking water to the local population, adding that we had arranged food and established the medical camp immediately after the carnage.

On the occasion Father of the local Church Khalid thanked the Alkhidmat Foundation and said that we have to jointly serve the country, adding that the visit of the Alkhidmat Foundation to the affected locality and review of the work of Alkhidmat Foundation is a matter of satisfaction for us. The delegation of the Alkhidmat Foundation also planted the trees in the locality and reiterated the resolve to do more work regarding the looking after of orphan children and their education.
