After coming into power, JI will take first action against the interest based system in country: Sirajul Haq
LOWER DIR, Aug 15 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the nation could not bear inflation anymore and central as well as provincial governments should overcome the deteriorating situation of security and inflation in the country to benefit the masses.
Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing the gathering of members and workers of Jamaat-e-Islami at Samar Bagh, Lower Dir on Tuesday. He further said that the former government could not improve economy of the country and added the assemblies did not put in place such a legislation which could benefit the masses.
He said that the national kitty was misused on the expenditures of heavy weight Cabinet, protocols and other perks and privileges and continued by and large the previous five years proved to be worse for the nation in the country’s history. “The way destruction occurred during the periods of previous two prime ministers of the country, the people would have to face its consequences for decades,” he added.
“Only a single way of betterment is the enforcement of the Islamic System. Experiences of previous 75 years proved that so-called governments and marshal laws were not solution to the problems of the country,” he noted.
Sirajul Haq stressed upon the masses to make correct use of their vote as providing opportunities further to the cruel feudal lords and corrupt capitalists is tantamount to handing over the coming generations to the slavery of oppressive forces. He added the masses have a good option in the form of Jamaat-e-Islami, adding that after coming into power, JI will take first action against the interest based system in the country.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami would enforce Quranic System in the courts and added the abundant resources of the country would be utilized for the benefit of the masses. He also condemned in harshest possible terms another incident of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
He maintained that such acts were being committed because of silence of Islamic countries which failed in presenting the emotions of Muslim Umma. “In spite of protests, Pakistan as well as other Islamic countries did not boycott Sweden,” he deplored.
Sirajul Haq further said that patience of Muslim Ummah was running out and added if this Islamophobia is continued, it would badly damage the peace of the world. He stressed upon Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and United Nations to put in place legislation against the blasphemy of religions.
Sirajul Haq while expressing deep grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Naib Emir Maulana Dilawar Hussain Saeedi in jail has expressed condolences with the JI Bangladesh, family members and friends of the martyred and prayed for the steadfastness of all of them. Sirajul Haq said that Maulana Dilawar Hussain and other JI Bangladesh leaders have been punished for love with Islam and Pakistan. He condemned in strongest words the silence of the human rights organizations and international institutions on the grave human rights violations in Bangladesh and stressed upon Islamabad to take up this issue at the international forums.
