Coalition govt of PDM, PPP broke record of bad governance during shortest term: Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that coalition government of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) broke the record of bad governance during the shortest term.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing the participants of central training centre at Mansoorah on Wednesday. He further said that the prime minister and cabinet should apologize to the masses for the sufferings they caused to the masses.

The rulers did nothing except that of taking loans as well as receiving relief in the cases, Sirajul Haq said and added there is a competition among the ruling parties in showing faithfulness to the United States of America. They assure the International Monitory Fund (IMF) that they are to be given an opportunity and that they would show further faithfulness, he noted.

The rulers are selling out airports, steel mills and motorway, he said and added if they are authorized they would sell out the entire country for gaining power. He added the rulers only were after the power.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that PDM and PPP broke the record of bad governance during the shortest term. He added the both were scared of the masses [in connection with appearing the general elections].

Faulty policies of the rulers caused the electric shocks to the poor segments of the society, fell petrol bombs and anarchy in the society, Sirajul Haq said. He deplored that a few families ruined the country and have been holding the nation hostage for over 75 years.
