The trajectory from occupation & Annexation is leading to settler colonization of Kashmir by India: IDDDS
ISLAMABAD, August 05 (SABAH): Institute of Dialogue Development & Diplomatic Studies organized a timely debate at the Evacuee Trust building campus in Islamabad, the title of the grand dialogue was occupation annexation and settler colonization of India in Kashmir. The settler colonization of Kashmir has surpassed occupation and annexation by India.
The grand dialogue based on two sessions was presided by Brig (Retd) Professor Dr. Tughral Yamin and Dr. Ashraf Wani respectively. (Retd) Professor Dr. Tughral Yamin gave a comprehensive briefing to the senior editors of print and electronic media.
Professor Dr. Yamin clubbed the role of academia, research, and media to represent the pain and agony of the Kashmiri people colonized by India. The briefing was empirically crafted by academic references on how India pursues its hegemony in the region, he proved empirically that India’s expansionist design is a threat to regional peace and security. The Indian policy is powered by a Hindutva mindset which is lethal to handling Indian relations with neighbors, particularly with Pakistan. India and Pakistan are nuclear neighboring states which cannot underestimate the mishandling of conflict which is a core policy issue of Pakistan and Pakistan is committed to helping Kashmiris politically morally and diplomatically.
Dr. Ashraf Wani presided over the concluding session and said we must play our role honestly, effectively, and with consistency. The role of media is vital in the digital advanced world to represent the pain of Kashmiris who are suffering due to Indian high headedness, he emphasized that the movement demands a proactive role on multidimensional fronts. Editors and media house owners shall keep Kashmir alive in electronic and print media but the main focus shall be unity because this is the only potent instrument to send a clear message to India that the struggle for the right to self-determination is continuing despite all odds. The editors and media house owners of electronic and print media pledged that they will leave no stone unturned to promote the Kashmir issue as per the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. The session concluded by question answer session
