AJK PM Chaudhry Anwarul Haq hails the role of overseas Kashmiris for promoting Kashmir cause in UK & Europe


ISLAMABAD, July 31 (SABAH): President Tehreek-e-Kashmir United Kingdom TeK UK Raja Fahim Ahmed Kayani and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement JKSM and All Parties Hurriyat Conference APHC leader Altaf Ahmad Bhat called on Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq here on Monday.

Both discussed the matters related to the ongoing liberation movement in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK) and issues of overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris settled in UK.

The premier hailed the role of overseas Kashmiris for promoting Kashmir cause in UK and Europe.

“The way overseas Kashmiris are highlighting the sufferings of IIoJK people is commendable and it should be expanded at global level to make India accountable before the world community for her crimes against humanity “ he added and said that Pakistan and AJK  is committed to support the people of IIoJK both politically, morally and diplomatically.

The premier assured the President TeK UK Raja Fahim Kayani that he will continue to talk and raise the sufferings of Kashmiris at every forum. He said we have never accepted the Line of Control (LoC) and nobody on the planet can stop me and any other Kashmiri to cross this bloody divide to go occupied side and IIoJK people to come AJK.

“We will never compromise on plebiscite and more than two lakh retired army men of AJK will not tolerate the sufferings and exploitation of IIoJK people and they are ready to help their oppressed brothers and sisters in IIoJK. World community and other global powers must come forward and end the exploitation of IIoJK people who are fighting for the implementation of UN resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir,” AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq added.

“Freedom the people in AJK are enjoying can’t be imagined in IIOJK and through this freedom we want to show the world to see the difference between AJK and IIoJK. The fight for the right of self-determination is the mission of my government and for this sacred cause all available resources would be utilised,” the AJK Premier Chaudhry Anwarul Haq added.

Chaudhry Anwarul Haq about his 100 days government performance said that he has been doing 19 hours work to put the governance of AJK on right track and making its infrastructure productive and pro public.

We have big challenges of governance and infrastructure but very soon public will know how we have been trying to put it on line to make AJK a model in terms of governance. He said the doors for the government employees politics and unions have been closed once for all. Forest cutting has been banned to meet the environmental challenges. The expenditures of the prime minister house and offices have also been slashed from monthly worth Rs12.5 million to Rs1.2 million. The 30 vehicles of Prime Minister’s motorcade has also been reduced from 30 to 4 vehicles which is a beginning. A lot is still in the store to come for the betterment of AJK.

Chaudhry Anwarul Haq assured TeK UK President Kayani that all overseas investors who want to invest in AJK would be provided conducive environment. The expatriates are the asset of Pakistan and we hope they will continue their contribution to make Pakistan economically stable which premier Haq said is need of the hour.

The TeK UK President Raja Fahim Kayani briefed AJK Premier Chaudhry Anwarul Haq about the role of overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris in Kashmir liberation movement and economy of UK. Pakistanis and Kashmiris settled in UK are playing pivotal role in the economy and national integration of UK which has also been admitted and hailed by the government of UK. Raja Fahim Kayani said that the overseas Kashmiris will continue to play their role in the uplift UK and continue the support for the right self-determination of people of Jammu and Kashmir.

On the occasion JKSM Chairman and APHC leader Altaf Ahmad Bhat thanked the premier for his undaunted support for the ongoing freedom struggle in IIoJK.
