COAS Syed Asim Munir offers condolences with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the death of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

ABU DHABI, July 30 (SABAH): Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), receives Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Hafiz Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, who offered condolences on the death of late Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

This was stated by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Embassy in Pakistan on Sunday. The embassy has also shared the picture of COAS Syed Asim Munir and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with the statement issued on twitter.

It is worth mentioning here that prior to this Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif offered condolences to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sad demise of his brother His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi and Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi.

The Prime Minister conveyed the profound sympathies and condolences of the leadership, Government and people of Pakistan to the president of UAE on his brother’s demise, which was received with great warmth by His Highness Shiekh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

Pakistan and the UAE are bound by close fraternal ties. His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was a sincere friend of Pakistan. His invaluable contributions will be long remembered by the Government and the people of Pakistan.
