Corrupt inflation mafia steals Rs 120bn daily from people pockets: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, Nov 04 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch termed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to the nation as tantamount to making the nation fool and said that inflation is not a global problem, it is the result of government incompetence and mismanagement. The relief announcement of Rs 120 billion has no value. The corrupt inflation mafia steals Rs 120 billion daily from the pockets of the people. The government remains the patron and godfather of the mafia. The people cannot get any relief in the face of continuous increase in petrol, gas, electricity prices and tax rates. The Rs 120 billion relief package will be a source of new looting and a burden to increase debt. Along with relief, new crises of petrol, electricity and gas have also been announced. The Imran Khan government has failed on every front.
Liaqat Baloch said that the process of organization of Milli Yakjehti Council in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North, South and Central Punjab has been completed and the election of provincial officials has been completed. A meeting of the Central Working Committee will be held in November 2021. Milli Yakjehti Council will protect the Islamic ideological role of Pakistan and strive for the implementation of the Islamic economic system to overcome the economic crisis.
Liaqat Baloch while talking to the delegation of Ulema said that peace, stability and domination of Afghanistan is possible only through Islam. Instead of concealing the defeat of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, acknowledging the denial of victory by the Afghan people and the Taliban will lead the world to new crises. Let Pakistan end its hesitation, recognize the Afghan government for its full solidarity with Afghanistan. The forces of global colonialism and secularism and expansionism cannot stop the Islamic ideological wave. It is now written on the wall that nations around the world, especially the Muslim world, cannot be enslaved by force, power, bombs and ammunition. Freedom, democracy and human rights of all nations must be recognized without discrimination in accordance with the United Nation’s Charter. Depriving Islam and Muslims of their rights is hostile to peace and development.
