Only Islamic System guarantees across the board accountability: Sirajul Haq
ISLAMABAD, July 10 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has unearthed that justice is sold out in the courts as all those who come into power are given away clean chit.
Sirajul Haq expressed these views while talking to delegation of lawyers in Islamabad on Monday. He further elaborated that marginalized segments of the society have to suffer for the sake of justice, saying current as well as past governments weakened institutions of the country while trying to run them in the light of their own wishes.
He said that only Islamic System guarantees across the board accountability. He added a number of experiments were done during the previous 75 years but the nation had not even a glimpse of Quran System.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that there is no difference among the policies of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as all of them ruined accountability system in the country. He deplored that the government of 13 parties could not bring any change in the country as the situation remains as it is.
Sirajul Haq said that justice is being sold out in the courts of the homeland as all those who come into power are given away clean chit. He stressed upon the lawyers to help out downtrodden masses in receiving justice from the courts as their cooperation needed for supremacy of law as well as further strengthening democracy in the country.
Current as well as previous regimes did not introduce any reforms in any field, he mentioned, and added that the rulers destroyed economy of the country while trapping the country in the interest system. He said the rulers made the future generations slave of International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Sirajul Haq demanded of the government to disclose the details of agreement inked with the IMF and urged to stop squeezing the blood of underprivileged segments of the society anymore. He called upon the rulers to present them for sacrifice while decreasing their perks and privileges.
