Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani urges PM Shahbaz Sharif to commemorate martyrs

ISLAMABAD, July 03 (SABAH): Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, has penned a letter to Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, emphasizing the need to commemorate the sacrifices made by martyrs of Pakistan. The letter highlights the significance of honoring these brave individuals and instilling a sense of gratitude and patriotism in the younger generation.

In his letter, Acting President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani acknowledged the everlasting contributions of the martyrs in establishing and preserving the stability and security of the nation. He underscored the responsibility of the nation to ensure that their sacrifices are remembered and cherished. To achieve this, he called for the establishment of martyrs’ memorials in provincial capitals and the display of portraits and the national flag at prominent locations, including airports, government buildings, schools, highways, and railway stations.

The proposed memorials and displays will serve as educational resources, particularly for students, fostering a deep appreciation for the martyrs’ selfless sacrifices and the spirit of patriotism within them. By paying tribute to the martyrs, the younger generation will carry their mission forward and keep their memories alive.

The Acting President urged Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to promptly address this matter and issue the necessary instructions. This initiative aims to honor and commemorate the courageous and indomitable martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the peace and security of the nation.
