Interim bails of Shehbaz, Hamza extended till 14th January in money laundering case


LAHORE, Jan 04 (SABAH): Interim bails of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and his son PML-N Vice President and Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Muhammad Hamza Shehbaz Sharif has been extended till January 14 in money laundering case.

During the hearing of the case pertaining to the money laundering through sugar business, banking court judge Tahir Sabir expressed displeasure and said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has not completed the investigation even after passing 16 months. The court has granted 10 days time to FIA for submitting the report after completing the investigations.

During the hearing, Shehbaz Sharif said there is nothing in the challan presented by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against him.

Meanwhile, the judge reprimanded the PML-N president over baselessly arguing with him. I am not arguing but telling you the truth, Shehbaz Sharif responded.
