After losing the govt, Imran Khan resorted to vandalism & attacked the military installations on May 9: Maryam Nawaz
SHUJAABAD, June 11 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President and Party’s Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday lambasted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying no one will cast vote for the latter now.
Addressing a youth convention, Maryam Nawaz took a swipe at the PTI chief, saying, “After losing the government, he resorted to vandalism and attacked the military installations on May 9. Those who were involved in the May 9 vandalism deserve no sympathy or relief. The mastermind of the May 9 mayhem hides in his residence and lay blames at the workers”.
At the outset of her speech, Maryam Nawaz said, “I have come to Shujaabad for the first time and would like to thank you for your support and love. PML-N leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited Shujaabad seven times”. She said that when on 12th October 1999, Parvez Musharraf committed coup against PML-N government, Nawaz Sharif was present in the service of the people of Shujaabad, adding that when Nawaz Sharif reached Islamabad he became missing persons we did not know about his whereabouts for 40 days.
“He should be ashamed to call himself a leader. This man has set this country on fire because his own children do not live here,” she maintained. She said that Nawaz Sharif snatched back the government which was snatched from him.
She heaped praise on the PML-N supremo, saying, “Nawaz Sharif never did politics of vandalism. The leader is the one who went to jail holding his daughter’s hand”.
“Despite the intention of breaking the PML-N, the party stood with Nawaz Sharif. But the PTI chief’s own party has shrunk today,” she asserted. She said that the monuments of martyrs were burnt on 9th May, adding that martyrs are not of only Pakistan army but they are martyrs of whole nation, they have sacrificed their lives for us and for Pakistani soil. She the Pakistani nation will not spare the one who committed insult of the martyrs. She said that those who disrespected the martyrs and burst the monuments of the martyrs did not deserve any mercy, leniency or pardon. She said that the mastermind of the plan is hiding at Zaman Park, adding that when he is questioned he says his workers may have done this. She said that Imran Khan and his whole party are jointly crying. She said that one chingchi is enough for Irman Khan’s party. She said that the chapter of fitna and unrest closed and now the process of development of the country will start.
Speaking about the budget, Maryam Nawaz praised Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, saying, “The premier presented the best budget despite the many challenges country is facing”. She said that the country has been saved from without IMF. She said that when Nawaz Sharif will return back the country will take off again. Maryam Nawaz said that Shujaabad will be developed and the youth of the area will have no need to go to Lahore in search of jobs, adding that best hospitals will be established in Shujaabad. She said that if the masses will give chance to PML-N in next election then the fate of whole Pakistan will be changed. She said that with the blessings of Almighty Allah the good days are coming.
