Imran Khan has nothing to do with the national, economic & defense interests of Pakistan: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD, June 07 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the coalition government is committed to providing maximum relief to the people in the upcoming budget. She said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has nothing to do with the national, economic and defense interests of Pakistan, adding that he is such a suicide bomber who sometimes target the economy of country, sometimes employment of masses and sometimes progress of Pakistan. She said that the 9th May mayhem is continuation of this mission, adding that an impersonator and fraudster could not make the masses fool all the time.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said massive programmes have been earmarked for farmers, IT and export sectors as well as the youth.

The Minister said passing dividends of the reduced oil prices on the common people is Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s top agenda. She said the Prime Minister is holding consultative meetings with different stakeholders and other key segments of society in this regard.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the coalition government is striving hard to put the economy on the path of stability and growth, but the dream of economic stability remains elusive without having political stability in the country. She said that the government is focusing on the decrease of the prices of flour, cooking oil and wheat, adding that soon the second installment of the kissan package is coming, adding that Pakistan has secured record wheat production due to the kissan package.

She said an anti-state mindset nurtured by the PTI and its Chief has not only brought political instability to the country but also ruined Pakistan’s economy. She said these anti-state forces are callously hell-bent to harm Pakistan’s interests. She said that it has been decided to announce big program for the youth.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that one person is crying human rights violations on the arrest of the miscreants, adding that his narrative is dieing, adding that they sometimes leveled allegations against America and sometimes against General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.
