Solution of political problems & crises lies in political dialogues: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, May 29 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council (MYC), Liaqat Baloch has said that solution of political problems and crises lies in political dialogues and that having aspirations for holding negotiation is a natural element but May 09 tragedies totally changed the whole scenario.

While addressing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s workers convention at Swabi; takbeer conference organized by Central Muslim League at Minar-e-Pakistan and political electoral central consultative meeting on Monday, Liaqat Baloch said that country was in fact pushed to a closed alley due to ego, obstinacy and political wrangling perpetrated by political leadership.

He said that having aspirations for holding negotiations is a natural element but May 09 tragedies totally changed the whole scenario of the country and that the resolution of political crisis lies with the political solution.

“Though former prime minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has offered to hold negotiation with the government but he would have to adopt a solid viewpoint on tragedies of May 09 for paving a way to national reconciliation as well as a source of healing the Armed Forces otherwise situation will be further worsened in the days to come,” he said.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman telephonically contacted Liaqat Baloch and briefed him about the illegal acts of government of Sindh against the apparent majority for mayorship of Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI of Karachi.

Liaqat Baloch advised Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to adopt the course of fair play as for the Karachi’s mayorship, PPP doesn’t enjoy majority with a warning that engineered majority by misusing government’s power will prove problematic, hence, ultimately the city will suffer.

He further said that the best option to steer the city out of serious issues was to admit confidence of Karachiites in Jamaat-e-Islami otherwise use of unfair means for the sake of mayorship of the city will keep on haunting the political career of the Bilawal Bhutto.

Liaqat Baloch said that nuclear capability of the country is a strong defense for the national security and added the entire nation pays tributes to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Ziaul Haq, Ishaq Khan, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Dr. Munir Ahmed Khan, myriad number of unknown scientists and engineers as well as wise men over rendering national services. He noted Pakistan was proud of May 28 for being day of gaining nuclear capability.

“It is requirement of protection of nuclear capability that national unity and stability be further strengthened for getting rid of economic crisis with an advice to national leadership to develop national consensus on national priorities. Kashmir dispute should not be ignored as it will be a serious national level crime,” he concluded.
