Gift boxes for wedding distributed among 30 deserving families under Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore

LAHORE, May 23 (SABAH): Under Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore, gift boxes for wedding were distributed among the 30 deserving families.

Ceremony of distributing these gift boxes among the deserving families was held at Community Centre Punjab Society Office of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore, participated by deserving girls as well as their mothers.

Gift boxes consisted of wedding suit, jewelry, bride and bridegroom dress, dinner set, water cooler, trunk, bed and utensils used at the kitchen.

Addressing on the occasion, Manager Community Services Program, Uzma Ali stated that public is much concerned over appalling state of inflation, particularly middle class and working class. In the light of prevailing situation, Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust is serving underprivileged and poor strata of society 24/7.

She furthered, till now, thousands of gift boxes were distributed among the deserving class and added Alkhidmat Trust not only lessons the burden on needy parents by helping them in getting married their daughters but it is actively playing its part in providing clean drinking water, education and health facilities, technical education and dispensary related facilities. She added it is also playing its role while sponsoring orphan girls by imparting them education and training.
