Unluckily education has to be purchased under current corrupt system:  Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

KARACHI, May 21 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Engineer  Hafiz Naeemur Rehman visited the last day camp of “Paro Parhow Tehreek” in Bagh-e-Rizwan, which comes in the jurisdiction of district Gulberg central.

On this occasion, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Dr Hafeezur Rehman, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami District Gulberg Farooq Nimatullah and others also addressed. In the camp, large number of women and children were present.

During the visit, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman visited several stalls of the camp where citizens were depositing course books for the underprivileged students. At the Paro Parhow camp, male and female students were given away gifts through balloting.

Addressing on the occasion, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that under current corrupt system unluckily education has to be purchased and added that providing quality education lies in the responsibilities of the government which is not being fulfilled. Inflation and unemployment-stricken masses could not bear expenditures of quality education of their offspring.

He further said that prices of edibles have been going up continuously and added in such a situation it is responsibility of the government as well as the state to provide free of cost education and basic facilities of health to the people. Quality education is the right of children of the people, he added.

Residents of the area deserve to be congratulated who celebrated such a beautiful ceremony, he said and added this activity is performed after an effort of months. He further this activity is carried out across the city.

Citizens of Karachi cannot pay fees of the private institutions, he said and noted that there are over 4,500 public sector schools in the city but in wake of lack of facilities the residents don’t tend to get their children admitted in these schools. In the public sector schools, education budget is collected through the taxes of the masses.

“We have to equip our children with quality education to transform them into builders of the nation. At present, 10,000 male and female students are doing course under Jamaat-e-Islami’s Bano Qabil Program,” he concluded.
