Sirajul Haq expresses concern about the overall law & order situation of the country & particularly Balochistan

QUETTA, May 20 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Sirajul Haq has expressed concern about the overall law and order situation of the country and particularly Balochistan.

The success of CPEC, Sirjul Haq said while talking to different delegations on Saturday, is directly linked to the peace and stability in the biggest province.
Sirajul Haq said the government had no action plan to establish peace and order and ensure protection for the people. He said the public lived in fear as the government writ seemed nowhere. He said the worst economic situation was due to ill-conceived policies of the incumbent government of 14 parties, and the PTI’s former government was also responsible for it. He said the inflation and unemployment had turned miserable the life of millions of people who could not afford bread and butter for their families. He said the largest portion of the population in Balochistan was living under the worst circumstances, without basic health, education and food facilities. He said the government must address the demands of the people before any mishap. He said Baloch sardars and governments were equally responsible for the plight of the public. He demanded the government provide relief to the public in the budget and fulfill the promises made with Balochistan. He said the government must honour the agreement it signed with the Gwadar rights movement.

Sirajul Haq, who escaped the suicide bomb blast that targeted his convoy near Zhob Balochistan on Friday, also visited the Quetta general hospital to inquire about the health of JI injured workers. Balochistan Governor Abdul Wali Karkar separately met him and discussed the situation.

The JI chief called for dialogue among the political parties on peace and economic stability. He said the people should be allowed to make final decisions about the future leadership. He held the fight between political players responsible for prevailing crises which he said must be addressed immediately.
