Jamaat-e-Islami time & again has been pointing out against polluting masses with poison of hatred & extremism: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, May 15 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader, Liaqat Baloch has said that current political scenario was awakening the entire nation as well as new devastation was alarming the political leadership about the seriousness of the prevailing situation.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Liaqat Baloch said that according to the history of country when political leadership resorted to ego and stubbornness, the rights of the masses as well as the rule of law and constitution were violated.

He further said that Jamaat-e-Islami time and again has been pointing out against polluting the masses with poison of hatred and extremism but this was continued which has emerged in the form of environment of free fall of society and social elements.

He said that the army’s interference into political affairs was unacceptable and added that anti-Pakistan forces were hell-bent upon depriving the country of its nuclear capability. He said that the US, India and Israel were behind this agenda.

Liaqat Baloch stressed upon the political leadership to open the door of political dialogue process for thwarting extrajudicial acts, adding the Supreme Court needs to accept that the course it has been adopting for some period has become controversial and unpopular. He also stressed upon the need of full court formation for the acceptability of decisions among general public. 

Pakistan not only belongs to political parties but it is combined asset of army, civil administration and 230 million masses, he noted and added all stakeholders need to play their fair part in its safety, security and development while learning a lesson from Türkiye.
