ISLAMABAD, May 10 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has been arrested in corruption case.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said at least 15 notices were dispatched to Imran Khan by the NAB, which was investigating the case.
She said the PTI Chairman has to submit his reply in Al-Qadir Case, but he was not presenting himself before the court.
She said the reaction came in the country after the arrest of Imran Khan was witnessed by the entire nation in which PTI leaders were inciting their workers to ransacking and putting the properties on fire.
She questioned that why leaders were not stopping the party workers when they were damaging the state and private property.
She said PML-N did not give such response even when its leaders including Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Khawaja Muhammad Saad Rafique and others were arrested.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has strongly condemned the attacks on the building and offices of Radio Pakistan and APP in Peshawar.
In a statement on Wednesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the attack on the offices of Radio Pakistan and APP by PTI armed gangs is condemnable and deplorable.
The Minister said following the pattern of PTV attack under Imran Khan’s instructions, PTI workers today attacked Radio Pakistan and APP buildings.
She said violence against government employees including women, vandalism and damage to property is terrorism.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said armed groups of PTI set on fire the Chaghi Mountain Monument and Radio Auditorium, which gives an idea of their state of mind.
She asked the Director General Radio Pakistan to file an FIR against the miscreants.
The Minister said the miscreants also tried to stop government broadcasting by cutting off lines, which is a serious crime.
