Those who stole mandate of people will have to face disgrace: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, May 9 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader, Liaqat Baloch has said that those who stole mandate of people will have to face disgrace. He said that Karachiites have expressed palpable confidence in Jamaat-e-Islami.
During a conversation with Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi chapter Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that workers of Jamaat-e-Islami conferred upon the masses of Karachi a vision of progress and development as well as gave them encouragement. He added that Karachiites expressed palpable confidence in Jamaat-e-Islami during recent elections, saying those who stole mandate of people will have to face disgrace and humiliation.
He said those who stole mandate of people they would be held responsible to tarnish the image of democracy and added that so-called public representatives would further exacerbate the issues of the masses. He added only a mayor of Jamaat-e-Islami could resolve the issues of the masses of Karachi.
Liaqat Baloch stressed upon the workers of the Jamaat-e-Islami to make preparations of the coming elections and added that powers of voters will change the current state of affairs of the city.
Talking to notable of Gwadar, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and representatives of “Gwadar Ko Haq Do Tehreek,” he said that this Tehreek [movement] have highlighted miseries and worries of the masses of the area. He said the political circles were going against the interests of poor masses under the guise of state institutions and urged the ruling class to resolve the issues of the masses.
Liaqat Baloch said that people of Balochistan were actual owners of resources of the province and stressed upon the government of Balochistan to release innocent political prisoner Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch while taking back false and fabricated case against him.
