AJK cabinet approves a manuscript for repealing specified limit of ministers in Article 14 of Interim Constitution, 1974

ISLAMABAD, May 3 (SABAH): Azad Jammu and Kashmir cabinet under the chairmanship of AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq on Wednesday approved a manuscript for repealing the specified limit of ministers, enshrined in Article 14 of Interim Constitution of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 1974.

Now this manuscript would be presented in the Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Cabinet meeting held with AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq in the chair at Jammu Kashmir House, Islamabad.

In the meeting, Senior Minister Colonel (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Government Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Chief Secretary Dr. Muhammad Usman Chachar, principal secretary, additional chief secretary, secretary finance, secretary services and general administration, secretary law, secretary information and other senior officials were present.

AJK cabinet approved the proposed 15th Constitutional Amendment Act, 1974. The cabinet also approved a number of measures for improving the governance besides approving 500 liters petrol per car used by the ministers which was unlimited ahead of this initiative. The cabinet also gave approval to all the orders issued by the Prime Minister AJK after he took over his current position.
