Coalition ruling parties decided not to close door of negotiations with PTI: Rana Sanaullah
ISLAMABAD, April 27 (SABAH): Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has stated that the coalition ruling parties have decided not to close door to dialogue with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). In the first phase, he said the PTI has shown flexibility.
Rana Sanaullah Khan expressed these views during an interview with a private TV channel here.
He said that PTI was in contact with the government and two senior members of the party Parvez Khan Khattak and Asad Qaiser had agreed to hold talks but after the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered both sides to meet and update the court by 4pm, they took a U-turn, saying which discussion.
He further said that they had assured to sit on April 26 but afterwards Imran Khan took their authority on the issue back. He blamed Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan for backtracking on talks with the government.
“Imran Khan also said that he was ready for talks. There was flexibility in PTI’s stance but everything got changed suddenly,” he remarked.
However, he added, “The coalition parties have decided not to close the door of negotiations and they should be done through parliament.”
