Mushaal Mullick demands OIC CFMs summit on genocide of Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD, Dec 26 (SABAH): The Chairperson Peace and Culture Organisation Mushaal Hussein Mullick demanded convening of an Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFMs) on the on-going genocide of unarmed and innocent Kashmiri people in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement on Sunday said that the Indian fascist government unleashed a wave of state terrorism and killing Kashmiri people in fake encounters and in search and cordon operations. She said that the Muslim would demonstrate unity and should call an Afghanistan-like summit on genocide and ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri people in the scenic valley.

Mushaal Mullick said that the silence and inaction of the world especially of the Muslim countries emboldened the Hindutva regime to further accelerate their genocidal mission. The chairperson said that six more Kashmiris have been extra-judicial killed by Indian occupation forces.

Mushaal lamented that at least 18 Kashmiris have been martyred by the brutal forces only in the month of December; however the majority of the muslim countries even could not just condemn the massacre of Kashmiris. The hurriyat leader vowed that Indian unabated oppression and use of force can break the will of the valiant Kashmiri people who are resolutely standing up against India’s state-terrorism in the valley.

She went on to say that their struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination as enshrined in the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions would be continue and their courage could not be dampened by such brutal tactics.

She urged that the international community should hold India accountable for its grave and systematic violations of human rights and international humanitarian law in IIOJK. Mushaal Hussein Mullick demanded that the world powers and the UN bodies to pressurize Indian government not only to stop the genocide of Kashmiris but to ensure settlement of Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people and UNSC resolutions.
