Indian forces conduct largescale operations in IIOJK’s three districts
SRINAGAR, April 24 (SABAH): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops arrested over thirty civilians including women during the continued cordon and search operations (CASOs), which entered its fifth day on Monday, in Poonch, Rajouri and Reasi districts.
Indian army and paramilitary forces launched the massive operation after an attack on an Indian army vehicle which killed five Indian troops of Rashtriya Rifles in Bhata Dhurian in Poonch.
The troops are using drones, military helicopters and sniffer dogs in the operation. The Indian officials said that around 30 people have been detained for questioning.
Commenting on the large-scale operations in three districts of the territory, experts and analysts ridiculed Modi government’s normalcy mantra. Seeing the holding of one of G20 events in Srinagar in May, the experts and analysts said that Indian government is shifting blame on China and Pakistan to hide its embarrassment.
Indian army officials on Sunday last had claimed that the attackers who ambushed the Indian army truck used steel core bullets, capable of piercing an armoured shield, and decamped with the soldiers’ weapons.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army assembled nomadic Gujjars and Bakarwals community and village heads in Akhnoor area of Jammu district to gatehr intelligence inputs.
It is noteworthy to mention here that Gujjars, Bakarwals and people living near LOC villages are one of the most victimized communities of Indian state sponsored terrorism since the early 1990s. The community has suffered at length, frequently at the cost of precious lives and property at the hands of Indian forces ‘terrorism and by their planted landmines.
