Unsuccessful govts pushed country in swamp of political, spiritual, ideological, financial & moral crises: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, April 18 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that unsuccessful governments pushed the country in swamp of political, spiritual, ideological, financial and moral crises.
Liaqat Baloch expressed these views while addressing an public aftaar programs at Layyah, Karor and Lahore, women workers convention and the media conference on Tuesday. Due to flaws committed during 75 years of the country’s history alongside unsuccessful governments pushed the country in swamp of political, spiritual, ideological, financial and moral crises, he added.
He said that due to uncertainty and instability the people were worried and economy of the country was in dilapidated condition. He said the country was ruled by army dictators, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and coalition governments but all of them broke the records of incompetency and incapability, adding the people were still in the grip of worst situation as the quarters concerned were not giving them relief even during the holy month of Ramazan.
He said division within people and polarization’s doctrine has exacerbated the already deteriorated situation of the society. He added that Jamaat-e-Islami was trying to pull the country out of current political crisis being faced by it through national dialogue and with the national spirit. He said that lust for the money and corruption was very common in our society.
He said the well-off and aristocratic segments of the society have become the center of ego and stubbornness and deplored that State’s system instead of running on the spirit of merit was being run on the basis of nepotism and prejudices. He said all the influential segments have become slaves of West and America.
Liaqat Baloch appealed to the masses to vote in favour of Jamaat-e-Islami in the coming elections so that the country could be pulled out of the prevailing crisis. He hoped that the situation of the country would change and the people will restore the lost glory of Pakistan.
Replying to questions of journalists and social media team, he said that they were contacting the national leadership so that constitution was safeguarded and holding of elections could be ensured. He said they contacted Maulana Fazlur Rehman in this regard as well.
