Shabir Ahmed Shah, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar bereaved over death of veteran liberation leader Ghulam Qadir Hagro
SRINAGAR/ISLAMABAD, April 16 (SABAH): Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has exparessed profound grief and sorrow over the passing away of Kashmiri liberation leader and senior People’s League stalwart Ghulam Qadir Hagro who breathed his last at his ancestral home at Aaluchi Bagh Srinagar yesterday.
In their separate statements, the incarcerated DFP Chairman Shabir Ahmed Shah and Acting Chairman Mehmood Ahmed Saghar while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family paid great tributes to the deceased leader for his selfless services and peerless contribution in the ongoing liberation struggle.
Referring to the deceased leader’s life long struggle, they said that Hagro Sahib was one of the pioneers of the freedom struggle who did not compromise his ideals despite going through trials and tribulations.
While praying for the deceased soul, the duo said that Hagro Sahib would be remembered for a long time in the annals of Kashmir history for his selfless services and significant contribution to the noble cause.
