Sindh govt committed worst forgery by hiding thousands of statistical block codes in housing census through deputy commissioners: Engr. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
KARACHI, April 14 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi chapter Engr. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that government of Sindh committed a worst forgery while hiding thousands of statistical block codes in housing census through deputy commissioners.
Engr. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing an aftaar dinner held under the auspices of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi at Nazimabad Block-M, UC-6. Wajeeh Hassan and Sohail Zaidi also addressed on the occasion.
He further claimed that real population of the city was being hidden according to a particular agenda and added that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in convenience with the Election Commission of Pakistan had held all the local bodies elections process hostage. He said the quarters concerned were hiding the actual population of the city lest Karachities have to be given their rights in terms of resources and employments.
He further said that Jamaat-e-Islami will actively stage protests against such practices and added the city would not be allowed to be a place of feudal lords and notables. He furthered that Jamaat-e-Islami had won in all four wards of North Nazimabad UC-6F and hoped that chairman and vice chairman belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami will also win on May 07.
He further requested the people to support Jamaat-e-Islami to put the city on the path of progress and development. Elected Jamaat-e-Islami’s local bodies representatives, traders and larger number of people were present on the occasion.
Engr. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further said had the census of 2017 been fair, the feudal lords and notables would have been wiped out from Sindh Assembly, claiming Karachi’s population was half of the population of the whole Sind province but it was being hidden as per a particular agenda.
