Holding dialogue by political parties for putting the country on real democratic path is a must: Sirajul Haq


LAHORE, April 9 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq on Sunday said that holding dialogue by political parties for putting the country on real democratic path is a must as clash between political parties was exploited by undemocratic forces in the past.  

Sirajul Haq expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in connection completion of Tafseerul Quran as well as the media persons at Mansoorah. He further said that all the stakeholders need to be on the same page for holding free, fair and transparent elections in the country and questioned coalition government consisting of 13 parties to put forth its performance of its one year stint.

Further lambasting the government, Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq noted that rupee value visibly declined during the previous 365 days of the incumbent government and it happened for the first time in the history of the country that Parliament and judiciary were openly fighting with each other. He deplored all the countries of South Asia surpassed Pakistan as the country is confronting with worst inflation at present.

A few days ago, Sirajul Haq noted lives of 20 people were wasted in wake of clashes erupted for obtaining four for them and added the present as well as past government ruined each and every department of life including economy of the country. He further said at present, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing worst law and order and incidents of extortion had become a routine matter but the governments were asleep.

Pakistan came into existence on the name of Islam and only Islamic System could safeguard it, he said and added Jamaat-e-Islami’s all struggle revolves around the enforcement of Quran and Sunnah System which is why people need to support it for achieving this target.

Sirajul Haq congratulated the students for learning the Holy Quran and teachers for teaching the Holy Quran. Sirajul Haq advised the students to spread the teachings of Quran and Sunnah in their native areas and spread the light of the knowledge in the society. He said that national institutions have badly been divided and become controversial, adding that the fighting among the ruling political parties is not coming to an end, adding that adding that this quarrel or disagreement is not on country or public agenda but for the securing power and chair. He said that there is no shortage of the resources in the country but there is problem of non-transparent distribution of resources, corruption and mismanagement.

He said that two percent gentry have occupied the resources of 98 percent masses of the country, adding that the rulers are not ready to abolish their protocol and privileges. He said that there is 85 member cabinet of the country which is clutched in debts. He said that there is no justice in the courts, adding that the English people left but left their system behind.

Sheikhul Quran Wal-Hadith Maulana Abdul Malik, Secretary Information JI Qaiser Sharif and Deputy Secretary General JI Sajid Anwar were also present on the occasion.
