Any negligence in the process of free flour to the people will not be tolerated: PM Shehbaz
SARGODHA, Mar 25 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed to improve the free flour distribution and ensure immediate registration of deserving people enabling them to get free wheat flour being distributed by the government.
During his visit to a distribution center at Company Bagh in Sargodha, he said setting up of NADRA and BISP counters at the distribution centers must be ensured.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister distributed free flour bags to deserving people and checked the quality of flour.
Later talking to media, Shehbaz Sharif said any negligence in the process of free flour to the people will not be tolerated. PM Shehbaz Sharif said that the country will move forward with the prayers of the people. He said that difficulties are being addressed, adding that the issue of long queues will be addressed. PM Shehbaz Sharif said that the government has full realization of the problems faced by the poor people, adding that the government is using all available resources for the resolution of the problems facing by the people. He said that the difficult time will be soon over.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that it if first time that three bags of 10 kg are being distributed among the deserving people free of cost during the month of Ramadan in 75 years history of Pakistan.
PM Shehbaz Sharif appreciated Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, chief secretary Punjab and other officials for working hard.
The Prime Minister also heard complaints of the people and issued directions to resolve them.
During the briefing to the prime minister it was informed that total 657,300 people in Sargodha are eligible for securing free of cost flour out of them 237,000 families have already secured the free of cost flour, which is 37 percent. The distribution of free of cost flour was started from 19th March and will remain continue till the 25th Ramadan.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, Advisor to PM on Establishment Ahad Khan Cheema, SAPM Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, MNA Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti and other PML-N leaders were also present on the occasion. Strict security measures were taken during the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Sargodha.
