Youth gathering organized under Roshan Kal Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore for complimenting services of Alkhidmat volunteers
LAHORE, March 20 (SABAH): Youth gathering was organized under the auspices of Roshan Kal Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore for lauding the services of Alkhidmat volunteers for humanity.
Noted youth trainer Zubair Mansoori, Muhammad Ali, Dr. Saima Asma, Madeera Batool, poetess Sundas Haseeb, mentor and psychologist Amina Nisar, General Manager Alkhidmat Trust Zara Afsha Farheen tangibly contributed in the panel discussion on “My Family My Strength.”
Former MPA and deputy secretary general Jamaat-e-Islami Women Wing Samina Saeed complimented the activity; President Alkhidmat Trust Lahore Saima Shabir, in-charge youth volunteers desk management Saira Ibrar introduced activities of Alkhidmat Trust whereas daughters of Aghosh Sheikhupura presented beautiful performance on “Be like Muhammad.”
Certificates were distributed among the volunteers. Special guest Samina Saeed while presenting poetic verses of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal stated, “Jawanon Ko Meri Aah-e-Sehar De Phir In Shaheen Bachon Ko Baal-o-Par De” [Give to the youth my sighs of dawn; Give wings to these eaglets again] as well as “Khudaya! Arzoo Meri Yehi Hai
Mera Noor-e-Baseerat Aam Kar De” [This, dear Lord, is my only wish—
That my insights should be shared by all!]
Youth gatherings are organized under Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore to provide training and education to the youth so that they could actively participate in the development and prosperity of the country whereas several courses, internship and welfare activities were conducted under Alkhidmat Volunteers Desk Management which is indeed an admirable activity.
On the occasion, Zubair Mansoori said some bricks get buried in the foundation of a big building and added though those bricks were not visible but they play an important part in the construction of building. “We have to play role of these bricks. This country is an asset and the youth are loyal to it,” he added.
Meaningful speeches of Sundas Haseeb, Saima Asma and Amina Nisar gave the youth a message of importance of their families. Participants prayed as the program culminated whereas they were also presented with eatables.
