JI making efforts for the welfare of common man & enabling him to stand on his own feet: Amirul Azeem


LAHORE, Dec 20 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Amirul Azeem has said that all the governments have provided loans to the investors, businessmen, waderas, landlords and owners of the flour and sugar mills but this facility was not provided to the common man. He said that instead of this the investor gentry eaten the loans. He said that this is the reason that today the country is heading towards bankruptcy.

This was stated by Amirul Azeem while addressing the ceremony organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Alkhidmat Foundation to provide interest free loans at the Anjuman-e-Tajran Mansoorah Bazar Office. Amirul Azeem said that JI is making efforts for the welfare of the common man and enabling him to stand on his own feet. He said that beside the fact that Jamaat-e-Islami is in power or not, serving the humanity remained its trade mark.

Amirul Azeem said that the parties’ which make narrative of give respect to the vote, should first make commitment to give respect to the common man. He said that it has been revealed in the Auditor General of Pakistan’s report that billions of rupees embezzlement has been committed in the foreign aid received for talking the coronavirus. He said that in audit report not millions but billions of rupees corruption has also been pointed out in the Benazir Income Support Program. He said that carrying out impartial accountability is the need of the hour. He said that the coronavirus pandemic has broken the back of the small traders but the government has also not initiated any step for the betterment of the traders.

During the ceremony Rs 2.5 million cheques were distributed among the traders. Emir JI West Abdul Aziz Abid, President Alkhidmat Foundation Lahore Engineer Hammad Rashid, PP-161 group leader Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum Gujjar, President Anjuman-e-Tajran Mansoorah Bazaar Muhammad Hanif, mentor Mian Hamidullah, group leaders NC-151 Suhaib Sharif were also present on the occasion.
