Alkhidmat Foundation, Aghosh UK hold donors conference titled ‘Rebuild Turkiye, Syria and Pakistan’ in Manchester


MANCHESTER, March 14 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation and Aghosh United Kingdom held a donors conference in Manchester, titled ‘Rebuild Turkiye, Syria and Pakistan.’

Purpose of holding the conference was to collect donations for the earthquake victims of Turkiye and Syria as well as for the rehabilitation projects in the affected areas.

In the ceremony, Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Muhammad Abdus Shakoor, Chairman Aghosh UK Dr. Adeel Riaz, former member of European Parliament Amjad Bashir, philanthropists and a number of men and women belonging to Pakistani community participated.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Muhammad Abdus Shakoor said that Alkhidmat has emerged as a reliable name not only in Pakistan but abroad as well and added it was benefiting to the millions of human beings during the untoward natural calamities.

During the recent floods, he said Alkhidmat Foundation served the nation and added it was still continuing its rehabilitation projects in the flood-hit areas. He added Alkhidmat’s credibility across the world indeed was the acknowledgment in wake of its services. 

Chairman Aghosh UK Dr. Adeel Riaz addressing on the occasion said that the way management and volunteers rendered untiring efforts during the recent catastrophic floods was satisfactory for those living in far off world. He further said the Pakistani diasporas always assisted their Pakistani brothers and sisters in all testing times and added by assisting the masses of Turkiye and Syria they were indeed enlightening the name of the country.

Addressing on the occasion, former member of European Parliament Amjad Bashir said that Alkhidmat Foundation has left marks of service not only in Pakistan but abroad as well and added they we should support it in pious deeds.
