Alkhidmat Zahida Latif Islam Hospital inaugurated in Kot Mela Ram area of Lahore


LAHORE, March 6 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Zahida Latif Islam Hospital has been inaugurated in the Kot Mela Ram area of Lahore under the Alkhidmat Foundation. In this regard, a simple but dignified ceremony was held.

President Alkhidmat Foundation Prof Dr Hafeezur Rehman, Prof Zahida Jabeen, President of Alkhidmat Central Punjab Ikramul Haq Subhani and Chairman Alkhidmat Health Foundation Chairman Dr Zahid Latif and other office-bearers participated in the ceremony.

This state-of-the-art hospital was being established with the particular donation of Prof. Zahida Jabeen which will be consisted of eight canals and four marlaz, a distinguished hospital of this type. Over Rs 500 million will be consumed on the project. Comprising 100 beds, this hospital will be equipped with facilities available at a mother and child, eye and dental hospitals alongside an Out Patient Department (OPD).

Addressing the ceremony, Prof Dr Hafeezur Rehman stated that Alkhidmat Foundation was continuing its services for providing modern health facilities to the masses across the country. “We are doing all this welfare work for the wellbeing of people as well as according to the will of Almighty Allah. We are grateful to Prof Zahida Jabeen for extending cooperation to us,” he remarked.

Paying tributes to Alkhidmat Foundation, Prof Zahida Jabeen noted it rendered unmatched sacrifices for the humanity. On this occasion, Ikramul Haq Subhani remarked this was not just about the foundation stone of a single hospital but a serious of pious deeds, saying their manifesto revolves around the service of humanity.

Dr Zahid Latif stated, “We’re putting a lot of efforts for improving planning and managements departments for which our entire team is working rigorously.” Other speakers also spoke on the occasion.
