Two Pakistani nationals repatriated from Guantanamo Bay detention facility: FO Spokesperson

ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (SABAH): Muhammad Ahmad Rabbani and Abdul Rahim Ghulam Rabbani, two Pakistani nationals who were in detention in Guantanamo Bay detention facility, have been released and repatriated to Pakistan on Friday.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in a statement issued on Friday said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated an extensive inter-agency process to facilitate repatriation of Muhammad Ahmad Rabbani and Abdul Rahim Ghulam Rabbani.

“We are pleased that these Pakistani nationals have finally reunited with their families” Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said.
