Volunteers of Alkhidmat Foundation lit name of Pakistan by rendering sacrifices during earthquake: Dr. Mushtaq Mangat


LAHORE, Feb 23 (SABAH): Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a condolence reference titled ‘Sympathy with Turkiye’ to express sympathies on the life and properties losses in recent earthquake that shook parts of Turkiye.

The motif behind holding this event was to express solidarity with the affected communities as well as to discuss way forward during the natural calamities. In this session, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry appreciated the sacrifices put forth by Alkhidmat Foundation during the recent earthquake in Turkiye.

Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, Turkish consulate general Ozbey, President Chamber of Commerce Kashif Anwer, officials of Rescue 1122, volunteers of Alkhidmat and other notables participated in the event.

On this occasion, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat briefed the participants about the activities of search and rescue team of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan during the recent earthquake in Turkiye.

He said that Alkhidmat Foundation’s volunteers were always ready to provide rescue and relief during emergencies and added that its aid activities during the recent quake that hit parts of Turkiye and Syria were laudable.

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat said that Alkhidmat Foundation’s volunteers have lit the name of country by rendering sacrifices during the earthquake. He also shed light on the assistance to the needful during the hours of need.

On the occasion, Turkish consulate general Ozbey said they were thankful to Pakistan for presenting such sacrifices during the earthquake. Through prompt response, Pakistan has won the hearts of Turkish masses; he said and added the Turkish masses will never forget the reaction of their Pakistani brothers. Afterwards, the participants also prayed for those who got killed and the injured during the quake.
