PM Shehbaz directs to improve power transmission system & take appropriate measures regarding load management during summer

ISLAMABAD, Feb 21 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed to minimize the load-shedding of electricity during Ramadan.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said this while chairing an important meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday regarding transmission of power and load management in the summer season.

The Prime Minister directed to improve the power transmission system and take appropriate measures regarding the load management during summer.

He instructed that all departments concerned should have a solid and comprehensive plan before the advent of summer season.

Shehbaz Sharif said it is a welcoming sign that share of local fuel and alternative resources is continuously increasing in country’s energy mix for power generation.

He also directed for taking immediate steps to make Haveli Bahadur Shah Power Plant fully operational.

Meanwhile Members of National Assembly Sheikh Rohale Asghar and Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh separately called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed overall political situation as well as matters pertaining to their constituencies.

Former MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi also called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.
