Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Syed Waqas Jafri holds meeting with Consul General of Turkiye Amira Ozbey

LAHORE, Feb 16 (SABAH): Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri held meeting with Consul General of Turkiye Amira Ozbey and handed over to him relief goods on behalf of Alkhidmat Foundation. He expressed his deep condolence over the loss in the earthquake that hit parts of Turkiye and Syria.

Syed Waqas Jafri stated that Alkhidmat’s 47 member team was taking part in search and rescue operation in Turkiye besides shifting cooked rations, tents, blankets and beds to the victims of Turkiye and Syria.

On this occasion, Consul General of Turkiye Amira Ozbey stated that they were thankful of Alkhidmat Foundation for undertaking relief activities in Turkiye. He said that masses of Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy a bond of affection and they have always helped with one another in all testing times.

Manager Alkhidmat Global Ahmad Toor stated that relief items would be transported to the affected areas of Turkiye and Syria free of charges through Turkish airlines with the cooperation of Disaster Management and Emergency Management Authority.
